A typical evening after work! ;-) (video)
It's also proof for years to come that we DID spend time with them! ;-)

Our Bria and the camera! :-)
Here's a self portrait of Bria.
Her babydoll twins. (Savannah and CJ)
Her dinosaurs.
Precious Moments (video)
I like to look at these... A LOT... and remind myself that peaceful, happy moments DO exist and will come again! hehe
Story time with Daddy. CJ is finally starting to smile at the camera!
Watching T.V. CJ just loves to do whatever his big sister is doing!
Eating a special, gingerbread cookie for dessert! It's not Christmas-time, but why not?Last but not least, Bria is showing CJ one of her online petshop games. It's about 37 seconds long. Such a nice 37 seconds!
And that's just about how long the nice play lasts before the battles begin again in earnest over who gets the mouse and who pushes the buttons on the keyboard and who has dibs on sitting in the chair, and who is or isn't getting a turn, etc.. etc..
Ah well, thank goodness for digital cameras! ;-)
Bria's take on a cartwheel (video)
Here's Bria doing a cartwheel with a new twist! I bet she's the only kid who has done a cartwheel over a dinosaur! ;-) (it was a soft dinosaur)
CJ follows behind trying to copy everything she does. So, I signed both her and CJ up for gymnastics class once a week this summer. He'll be in the 18mos - 3 yr old class with me while she is in a class for her age group.
I'm pretty excited about it... I hope the kids like it! ;-)
CJ the Barber (video)
CJ loves playing barber!
He puts his whole body into it! haha I don't know where he got the idea to push the lever with his tummy... but that's the way he insisted on doing it!
Maybe we'll talk Daddy into letting CJ do his hair someday ;-)

Rest In Peace Uncle Allen

It's a little ironic that my grandparents and both of their sons all went within a 6 year span of time. It seems too fast. Family was always important to my grandparents, my father and my uncle.
I like to think that they were just meant to be together again… as my father’s friend said Tuesday evening, “Now that Bill and Allen are up there, Heaven will never be the same!” Haha, he’s probably right. God willing, with the way my grandmother loved to cook, everyone in Heaven is much more well-fed! I’m sure my grandparents, who loved to renovate old homes, have knocked down a few walls and created a few additions too. No doubt my father has the choirs of angels singing barbershop harmony by now and if there’s any record keeping to be done he’s taken charge, got them labeled and cross-referenced three ways. Now my uncle is putting his fisherman’s skills to new tests, showing them some card tricks on the side, and reminding them all to laugh more and not to take themselves too seriously. ;-)
